How Crafting Works

Everything in Shipload — every ship, container, module, and component — is crafted from raw resources. Crafting is the foundation the entire game is built on. Pick an example below and watch how resource quality flows through each step.

Every crafting chain starts with raw resources. Each category has three stats — not all matter for every recipe. The dimmed ones get discarded while the bright ones carry forward into the component.
